This Software Engineer role contributes to the evolution and stability of critical payment platforms within a scaled Agile environment, operating in a globally distributed model.

As a Software Engineer, you will play a key role in our Agile delivery process, adhering to the SAFe framework. This involves participating in sprint planning and execution within a Scrum team. You will collaborate closely with onshore engineering teams to deliver new features, resolve defects, and ensure seamless integration throughout the development lifecycle. Your responsibilities will extend to designing, developing, and maintaining solutions across a multi-technology stack, as well as providing essential production support to ensure the performance, resilience, and reliability of critical live systems. Furthermore, you will contribute to continuous improvement by enhancing engineering best practices, driving automation initiatives, and refining processes to boost delivery efficiency and quality.

We are seeking a technically proficient and collaborative Software Engineer adept at navigating complex, enterprise-scale environments. Essential qualifications include:

- Proven experience with Java-based development. - Familiarity with the Spring Boot framework. - Hands-on experience with TDD and BDD testing frameworks such as JUnit, Selenium, and Cucumber. - Proficiency in frontend technologies including Angular and JavaScript. - Solid understanding of SQL scripting and data handling. - Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies, with SAFe experience being a significant plus. - Strong problem-solving capabilities and a proactive ownership mindset. - Excellent ability to collaborate effectively with distributed teams. - Experience working with relational databases, particularly Oracle.

Desirable experience encompasses exposure to DevOps tooling and familiarity with REST, Messaging, and Event-Driven frameworks and solutions.
