Join Microsoft's M365 Copilot team and reimagine search with AI. Design, build, and deploy end-to-end Copilot Search features using React and TypeScript. Focus on creating performant, accessible, and localized user interfaces across various platforms. Drive web performance through advanced techniques like server-side rendering and bundle-size reduction. Integrate AI-generated answers, including streaming responses and source attribution. Instrument features with telemetry, define success metrics, and conduct A/B experiments to make data-driven decisions. Ensure feature reliability through monitoring, alerting, and automated health checks. Participate in on-call rotations to mitigate production incidents and drive root-cause fixes. Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver polished user experiences. Contribute to raising the engineering bar through code reviews, automated testing, and shared component development. Leverage AI-assisted development tools to enhance speed and product quality.

A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field is required, along with at least 4 years of technical engineering experience. Proficiency in coding languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python is essential, or equivalent experience. Preferred qualifications include solid experience with React and TypeScript for production web applications, strong web fundamentals (HTML, CSS, browser rendering, web performance, server-side rendering), and experience building and operating large-scale web applications. Familiarity with telemetry, A/B experimentation, and data-driven decision-making is valuable. Experience building LLM or AI-powered features and exposure to cross-platform hosts are a plus. Live-site operations, monitoring, and on-call experience are also preferred. Solid problem-solving and communication skills are expected, along with comfort collaborating across time zones.
