As a Software Engineer on the Microsoft Fabric Core Platform team, you will: - Develop and manage backend platform services essential for Microsoft Fabric, including Service Fabric, capacity management, and routing. - Drive deployment reliability and operational excellence across global Azure regions. - Enhance platform resilience through rigorous testing, advanced telemetry, and proactive incident response. - Collaborate closely with workload and partner teams to deliver secure, scalable platform capabilities. - Participate in on-call rotations to ensure continuous service health and contribute to ongoing improvements.

We are seeking individuals with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, complemented by proven coding experience in languages such as C#, C++, Java, JavaScript, or Python, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred qualifications include hands-on experience with C#/.NET and cloud services like Azure. Familiarity with distributed systems, microservices, large-scale backend services, CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps), Kusto/KQL, infrastructure-as-code, or containerization technologies would be advantageous.
