This Software Engineer role is integral to our globally distributed delivery model, collaborating closely with established onshore teams to ensure the high availability and stability of mission-critical payment systems. You will contribute to the continuous evolution of key platforms within a scaled Agile (SAFe) framework, playing a vital part in maintaining excellence.
As a Software Engineer, you will:
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies within a Scrum team aligned to the SAFe framework, contributing to sprint planning, execution, and driving continuous improvement. - Foster strong collaboration with onshore engineering teams to deliver features, resolve defects, and ensure seamless integration throughout the development lifecycle. - Design, develop, and maintain robust solutions across a multi-technology stack, ensuring high quality and performance. - Provide essential production support for critical live systems, guaranteeing their performance, resilience, and adherence to enterprise standards. - Champion engineering best practices, drive automation initiatives, and enhance processes to boost delivery efficiency and product quality.
We seek a technically proficient and collaborative Software Engineer adept at navigating complex, enterprise-scale environments. Essential qualifications include:
- Proven experience in Java-based development. - Familiarity with the Spring Boot framework. - Hands-on experience with TDD and BDD testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Selenium, Cucumber). - Exposure to front-end technologies like Angular and JavaScript. - Competency in SQL scripting and data management. - Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies, with SAFe experience being a plus. - Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, coupled with a proactive ownership mindset. - Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within distributed team settings. - Practical experience with relational databases, specifically Oracle.
Desirable skills encompass exposure to DevOps tooling and experience with REST, Messaging, and Event-Driven frameworks.
