We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to enhance our Decision Management program. This program drives intelligent, data-driven products through advanced streaming analytics, incorporating robust decision governance and agile outcome management. It utilizes business rules, AI engines, a big data streaming cluster, in-memory data grids, APIs, and user interfaces to deliver real-time decisions on a global scale. This role involves both hands-on development and team mentorship.

As a Software Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing robust application logic using Java. Your responsibilities will include developing comprehensive unit, integration, and functional tests to ensure code quality and reliability. You will manage your time effectively, collaborating with teammates to achieve project milestones and actively participating in all Scrum ceremonies. A key aspect of this role is applying best development practices to write well-designed, maintainable, testable, scalable, and secure code, contributing to the overall success and resilience of our systems.

We are looking for candidates with exceptional programming proficiency, particularly deep expertise in Java (version 8 and above). A strong understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA) and design patterns is essential, alongside extensive knowledge of cloud technologies and microservices architecture. Familiarity with code coverage tools like Sonar and application security tools such as Blackduck and Checkmarx is required. Proficiency in frameworks like Spring and Spring Boot, coupled with experience in Source Code Management (SCM) or version control systems like Bitbucket or Github, is crucial. Additionally, a good grasp of unit testing and mocking frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Mockito), SQL, and Oracle databases is necessary. Strong diagnostic and creative problem-solving skills are valued, along with scripting knowledge in shell, Python, or Groovy. Experience with observability and Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools like Splunk or Dynatrace is important. Practical experience with high-performance applications, Agile methodologies, and project management tools such as Jira and Confluence is expected. Exposure to AWS and familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and build tools like Maven, Gradle, and Jenkins are also key requirements.
