- Design and develop cloud-native payment services tailored for Just Walk Out stores and diverse physical retail formats. - Implement robust and secure payment integrations across various processors and payment methods. - Engineer real-time systems for payment risk assessment and effective fraud prevention. - Produce clean, maintainable code complemented by comprehensive test coverage. - Actively contribute to critical system architecture and technical design discussions. - Debug and optimize performance of payment services operating within distributed environments. - Develop essential monitoring and alerting mechanisms for vital business services. - Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure the stability of production systems. - Document technical solutions clearly and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
- Possess a minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience, excluding internships. - Have at least 2 years of experience in designing or architecting new and existing systems, including familiarity with design patterns, reliability, and scaling. - Include 3 years of experience within the Video Games Industry, supporting title development, release, or live operations. - Demonstrate proficiency in programming with at least one software programming language. - Hold a Bachelor's degree.
Preferred qualifications include 3+ years of experience across the full software development life cycle, encompassing coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
