We are looking for a technically proficient individual with a solid understanding of data center operations, encompassing both physical and virtual servers, storage, SAN, WAN, and firewall technologies. The ideal candidate will also possess strong IT Service Management (ITSM) process experience, including incident and change management, CMDB maintenance, and documentation.

This position involves comprehensive management and support of data center infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance of physical and virtual servers, storage, and SAN. You will collaborate with network and security teams to manage WAN connectivity, firewalls, and access. Responsibilities include coordinating infrastructure provisioning, handling incident and change management processes, and ensuring timely resolution within SLAs. A significant part of the role involves creating, maintaining, and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), operational runbooks, and technical documentation, while ensuring adherence to ITIL processes and organizational policies.

You will also be responsible for assessing change impacts, risks, and dependencies, preparing implementation and rollback plans, and validating CMDB records. Participation in change review meetings and CAB discussions may be required. Effective stakeholder coordination and communication are crucial for preparing status reports and ensuring smooth operational activities.

We are seeking candidates with 3-8 years of relevant experience in Data Center Infrastructure, Server Administration, Storage, or Network Operations. Essential skills include strong verbal and written communication, a deep understanding of data center infrastructure and operations, and hands-on experience with physical and virtual servers. Proficiency in SAN infrastructure, WAN and data center network connectivity, and firewall concepts is required.

Proven experience in Incident Management, Change Management, CMDB validation, and the creation/maintenance of SOPs and technical documentation is critical. A solid grasp of ITIL/ITSM processes, alongside experience with ERP and IT operational processes, is necessary. Excellent stakeholder coordination and problem-solving abilities are paramount for success in this role.
