This role demands end-to-end ownership of application architecture for customer-facing and operational initiatives. Key responsibilities include defining architecture, service boundaries, solution components, interfaces, and deployment models. You will design scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions, architecting modernization strategies for legacy systems and designing using patterns like Microservices, SOA, and Event-Driven Architecture.

Further duties involve defining inter-channel communication, supporting API design, establishing application security patterns, and defining non-functional requirements for performance, scalability, and resilience. You will also provide technical leadership, review designs, manage risks, and present solutions to governance forums.

We require strong experience in application and solution architecture, particularly with enterprise-scale customer-facing or operational applications. Essential skills include deep knowledge of Microservices, RESTful APIs, Event-Driven Architecture, distributed systems, integration patterns, and Domain-Driven Design. Experience integrating modern apps with legacy platforms, defining architectural components, and understanding security principles are crucial.

Candidates must possess a strong grasp of non-functional requirements like availability, scalability, and resilience, coupled with the ability to lead multiple engineering teams.
