Spearhead the architectural design, development, and enhancement of enterprise-level e-commerce platforms as a Senior Shopify Developer. This role involves crafting bespoke Shopify themes, architecting custom public and private applications, and driving technical excellence across our digital storefronts.

As a senior leader, you will mentor junior engineers, establish robust technical standards, and collaborate closely with product, design, and marketing teams to deliver exceptional user experiences.

Architect and scale high-volume, secure Shopify Plus stores and custom commerce applications. Build and maintain custom Shopify themes from scratch using Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and modern frontend frameworks. Design, build, and deploy reliable custom Shopify apps using Node.js, Python, or Ruby on Rails.

Diagnose and resolve complex performance, SEO, and accessibility issues for optimal page speeds and conversion rates. Build seamless integrations between Shopify and third-party systems, including ERPs, CRMs, OMS, fulfillment providers, and payment gateways. Conduct rigorous code reviews, establish engineering best practices, and mentor a team of developers.

A minimum of 8 years in professional software development is required, with at least 6 years specifically dedicated to the Shopify ecosystem (Themes, Admin, API).

Possess 5+ years of experience developing custom Shopify Themes using Liquid, JavaScript, and Tailwind CSS/SASS, and 4+ years building custom Shopify Apps with Shopify Admin APIs (REST/GraphQL) and Webhooks. Experience with Shopify Plus enterprise features (Functions, Checkout Extensibility, B2B, scripting) and headless commerce architectures (Hydrogen, Remix, Next.js with Storefront API) is essential (2+ years each).

Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, Node.js backend) for 5+ years, and experience with relational/non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB) for 4+ years. A strong command of Git and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, AWS) is also required (5+ years).
