Key responsibilities include meticulous data validation through source-to-target reconciliation and detailed checks on counts, data types, and duplicates. You will rigorously test and verify complex data transformation logic and business rules against mapping documents.

Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks for ETL processes and data workflows, identify, log, and track data quality defects, and collaborate with engineering teams to resolve root causes. Performance testing of ETL batch processes and data pipelines is also a critical aspect of this role, alongside preparing test data and ensuring adherence to data governance and compliance standards.

A strong command of SQL for backend data verification and profiling is essential. Solid understanding of Data Warehouse concepts and familiarity with Microsoft Azure and standard ETL concepts are required.

Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Shell for automating data validation tasks is necessary. Experience with issue tracking tools such as Jira and adherence to Agile and Scrum methodologies are also key requirements for this position.
