This role is pivotal in ensuring the high availability and performance of our integration environment. You will be instrumental in tackling complex production issues and developing robust solutions.

As a Software Development Specialist, you will collaborate closely with clients and business users, translating their needs into effective software solutions. Participation in client status calls and documenting systems according to NTT DATA standards are key aspects of this position.

Manage incidents, service requests, and changes to ensure prompt resolution and implementation.

Optimize performance and develop tools for preventive health checks, ensuring a highly available integration environment.

Provide expert technical solutions for intricate production issues, guaranteeing timely resolutions.

Understand client requirements, develop, and assess alternative system solutions.

Engage with application and business users to align on requirements and deliver tailored software solutions.

Participate in daily and weekly client status calls, discussing action items for outstanding tickets and addressing client queries.

Document software systems, SOPs, and runbooks in compliance with NTT DATA's standards and procedures.

Plan, participate in, and successfully manage application maintenance activities.

Work on CI/CD related tickets, designing, implementing, and maintaining pipelines.

Participate in application deployments using Bamboo and GitLab.

Possess experience in Application Support and Maintenance, with L2/L3 support proficiency.

Demonstrate hands-on experience with SQL queries and a strong understanding of RDBMS.

Exhibit the ability to coordinate effectively with multiple teams on high-visibility and critical issues.

Show a good understanding of application deployments using Bamboo and GitLab.

Have strong Unix/Linux knowledge coupled with expertise in CI/CD pipelines.

Be proficient in development or scripting languages such as C, Java, Python, Bash, Groovy, or Go.

Provide hands-on experience with Kubernetes commands, Kubernetes HPA, and container management.

Possess hands-on experience with Bamboo CI/CD, defect management using Jira, and knowledge of Confluence and Bitbucket/Stash.

Have experience with ticket management and resolution tools like Jira and ServiceNow.

Demonstrate expertise in monitoring tools like Datadog, Dynatrace, and log analysis tools like Splunk, including creating and modifying dashboards and monitors.

Secondary skills in MSK (AWS Kafka) are a plus.
