NTT DATA is seeking a highly skilled Software Development Senior Advisor to join our dynamic team. This role involves modernizing legacy systems and building cutting-edge solutions for logistics operations. Analyze existing COBOL applications, JCL, and databases like DB2, VSAM, or IDMS for maintenance and enhancement. Integrate COBOL-based systems, develop scalable microservices, and build responsive front-end interfaces for logistics, including shipment tracking, warehouse management, and order processing. Develop backend solutions using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Batch, and Microservices. Build user interfaces with Angular, HTML5, CSS3, and TypeScript. Implement a sub-hub model using Kafka for efficient data streaming.

Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Requires a minimum of 10+ years of experience with Java. Minimum 1+ years of experience in COBOL is essential. At least 2+ years of experience in modernizing logistics applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is required. Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, CICS, IMS, MQ, VSAM is crucial for understanding batch and real-time processes.
