Key responsibilities include collaborating with organizational leadership and Principal Engineers to define the technical and architectural direction for Selection Monitoring's external e-commerce source discovery and enrichment. You will build and deploy scalable, fault-tolerant, and highly available services and AI agents designed to resolve complex issues in entity resolution, deduplication, classification, and third-party data integration.

Further responsibilities involve constructing and launching efficient storage solutions for managing vast datasets, optimizing performance for both high-volume ingestion and analytical queries. Additionally, you will cultivate and develop a team of high-performing Software Development Engineers, investing in their career growth. Driving operational excellence and continuously elevating the quality of software delivered by the team is also a core aspect of this role.

We are looking for a leader with a minimum of 8 years of experience in defining and developing multi-tier web services, complemented by at least 3 years of experience managing engineering teams. A solid understanding of engineering practices and patterns across the full software, hardware, and network development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, certification, and live site operations, is required. Experience in partnering effectively with product or program management teams is also a prerequisite.

Preferred qualifications include experience communicating with users, technical teams, and senior leadership to gather requirements, articulate product features, technical designs, and strategy. Additionally, experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring, coaching, and managing Software Engineers to enhance their skills and effectiveness is highly valued. This role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
