- Lead and manage a team of software engineers, overseeing project execution, performance, and career development. - Communicate project roadmaps effectively to the team, management, and key stakeholders. - Collaborate with peer managers to accurately scope and estimate development efforts. - Facilitate crucial discussions around systems design, architecture, and scaling strategies. - Advocate for optimal outcomes using data-driven insights, strong conviction, and diplomacy. - Drive the delivery of innovative customer experiences for a global audience. - Recruit, hire, and mentor high-caliber engineers to build a world-class team.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in engineering team management. - 7+ years of direct experience working within engineering teams. - 3+ years of hands-on experience in designing or architecting new and existing systems, focusing on design patterns, reliability, and scalability. - 8+ years of experience leading the definition and development of multi-tier web services. - Profound knowledge of engineering best practices and patterns across the full software/hardware/networks development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations. - Proven experience partnering effectively with product or program management teams.
