Lead a team of skilled software engineers in building and scaling Amazon's Family platform capabilities. You will guide the technical vision and execution for a crucial part of the Amazon Family charter. This hands-on leadership role is perfect for individuals passionate about developing engineers, driving technical excellence, and delivering customer-facing products at Amazon's scale.

Key responsibilities include people leadership, managing and mentoring a team of approximately 10–15 Software Development Engineers (SDEs) and Quality Assurance Engineers (QAEs), covering hiring, performance management, and career development.

Drive the design, development, and operation of scalable, reliable, and secure platform services. Ensure adherence to high standards for code quality, operational excellence, and system availability.

Own the product roadmap in collaboration with product management, translating business goals into technical strategy. Foster cross-team collaboration and manage operational excellence for services, including on-call rotations and incident response.

Communicate progress, risks, and trade-offs effectively to senior leadership and stakeholders across different geographies.

Requires 7+ years of engineering experience, with at least 3 years in engineering team management. Possess 8+ years of experience in defining and developing multi-tier web services.

Demonstrate knowledge of engineering practices across the full development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations. Experience partnering with product or program management teams is essential.

Proficiency in designing or architecting new and existing systems, focusing on design patterns, reliability, and scaling. Experience in communicating technical designs and product strategy to users, technical teams, and senior leadership is preferred.
