These advancements enable Amazon to efficiently manage terms with 1P Selling Partners, ensuring optimal costs to benefit customers.

This is an exciting opportunity to drive innovation and impact core retail domains, including Supply Chain, Cost, and Procurement. You will leverage a modern tech stack encompassing AWS, Machine Learning, Agentic AI, React, and large-scale Data Analytics to develop groundbreaking solutions.

You will steer end-to-end delivery of cutting-edge solutions, focusing on multi-agent orchestration, proactive recommendations, and data-driven negotiation strategies. Managing a team of over 10 Software Development Engineers, you will collaborate closely with Applied Scientists, Product Managers, and senior leadership.

Key responsibilities include translating complex GenAI and negotiation challenges into actionable plans, spearheading hiring efforts to cultivate a high-performing team, and influencing technical direction at the nexus of retail strategy and engineering. Your leadership will be instrumental in shaping the future of our Selling Partner interactions.

Candidates should possess at least 3 years of experience in engineering team management and a minimum of 7 years in engineering roles. A strong background of 8+ years leading the definition and development of multi-tier web services is required.

Essential knowledge includes engineering practices and patterns for the complete software/hardware/networks development lifecycle, covering coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations. Experience partnering with product or program management teams and a proven track record in designing or architecting new and existing systems for reliability and scalability are also fundamental.
