Lead a high-impact engineering team focused on AERO, an AI-powered platform designed to revolutionize how Amazon's retail and selling partners manage their businesses. This role involves end-to-end ownership of intelligent, agent-based systems that deliver proactive insights, automate complex workflows, and enhance the partner experience at an Amazon scale.

Spearhead end-to-end delivery of AI solutions utilizing AWS, Machine Learning, Agentic AI, React, and advanced Data Analytics. You will drive multi-agent orchestration, develop proactive recommendation engines, and build data-driven negotiation tools. This role also offers exposure to critical retail areas like Supply Chain, Cost, and Procurement.

Manage a team of over 10 Software Development Engineers (SDEs). Collaborate closely with Applied Scientists, Product Managers, and senior stakeholders to transform ambiguous challenges into actionable plans. You will be responsible for hiring and developing a high-performing team, influencing technical strategies at the nexus of retail, selling partner objectives, and engineering excellence.

A minimum of 3 years in engineering team management and 7 years of overall engineering experience is required. You should possess at least 8 years of experience leading the definition and development of multi-tier web services. A strong understanding of engineering best practices across the full software development lifecycle is essential, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, certification, and live site operations.

Proven experience partnering with product or program management teams is a must. Additionally, you should have demonstrated experience in designing or architecting new and existing systems, focusing on patterns, reliability, and scalability. Experience communicating with users, technical teams, and senior leadership to gather requirements, describe features, and articulate product strategy is also highly valued.
