Lead a critical engineering charter for Amazon's Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) in strategic international marketplaces. This role focuses on developing software that empowers third-party sellers to manage inventory and fulfill orders efficiently.

Define and own the engineering charter's vision, multi-year roadmap, and quarterly execution. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of software engineers, including hiring and performance management. Architect and design scalable, low-latency, and highly available distributed systems. Develop Generative AI solutions and conversational assistants to simplify seller workflows. Ensure operational excellence, focusing on availability, latency, and correctness of services. Manage complexities of international marketplaces, including compliance and capacity requirements. Collaborate with Product, Applied Science, Operations, and global FBA teams. Communicate technical designs, product strategy, and reviews to diverse audiences. Maintain high standards for engineering quality, security, and best practices.
Minimum of 7 years of engineering experience. Over 3 years of experience managing engineering teams. 8+ years of experience defining and developing multi-tier web services. Proven ability to partner effectively with product or program management teams. A Bachelor's degree is required.
Preferred qualifications include experience communicating with users, technical teams, and senior leadership, as well as expertise in recruiting, hiring, mentoring, and managing software engineering teams.
