Lead software development initiatives from conception to deployment, collaborating closely with stakeholders to design scalable and adaptable solutions. You will partner with global teams, senior engineers, and principal engineers to address complex business and design challenges. A key aspect of this role involves translating broad business objectives into robust software platforms that support diverse business needs, ensuring timely delivery and fostering a strong team spirit.

Your efforts will contribute directly to creating efficient, scalable, and customer-centric solutions, playing a vital role in advancing Amazon's global grocery business.

A minimum of 7 years in engineering, coupled with 3+ years of team management experience. Proven expertise in leading the definition and development of multi-tier web services for over 8 years is essential. A solid understanding of comprehensive engineering practices across the full development lifecycle is required, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, certification, and live site operations. Experience collaborating with product or program management teams is also a prerequisite.
