Key responsibilities include architecting robust technical designs for extensibility and reliability, building and developing a high-performance software engineering organization through hiring and mentoring, and owning all operational metrics and support. You will also collaborate with development teams across the globe on shared projects and dependencies.

We are seeking individuals with a minimum of 3 years in engineering team management and 7 years of overall engineering experience. A strong background of 8+ years in leading the definition and development of multi-tier web services is essential.

Candidates should possess a deep understanding of engineering practices across the full development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and live site operations. Experience partnering with product or program management teams and designing/architecting new and existing systems for reliability and scalability is also crucial. Preferred candidates will have experience in user communication, collaborating with technical teams and senior leadership, and a proven track record in recruiting, mentoring, and managing software engineers.
