Lead a high-performing team of software engineers dedicated to building scalable distributed systems. Set clear technical direction, elevate design and code quality standards, and collaborate with engineering and product peers to deliver exceptional customer solutions.

Transform complex, open-ended business challenges into elegant, robust technical solutions. Make clear trade-offs between performance, cost, and system complexity.

Take ownership of your team's roadmap and long-term technical vision. Develop and align the 1–2 year technical plan with broader organizational strategies, working closely with Science, Engineering, and Product leaders for effective work sequencing.

Demonstrated experience of at least 3 years in managing engineering teams.

A minimum of 7 years of professional engineering experience is required.

Possess over 8 years of experience leading the design and development of multi-tier web services.

Strong understanding of engineering practices and patterns across the full software, hardware, and network development lifecycle. This includes proficiency in coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing methodologies, certification procedures, and livesite operations.

Proven experience in collaborating effectively with product or program management teams.

Experience communicating requirements, technical designs, and product strategy to users, other technical teams, and senior leadership is highly preferred.

Demonstrated experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring, coaching, and managing Software Engineers to enhance their skills and effectiveness is a plus.
