Lead a team responsible for developing and maintaining highly scalable and available web services at the core of FBA's technology. These services are crucial for the global FBA business, operating under demanding conditions with high availability requirements.

Key responsibilities include: - Collaborating with senior FBA leadership to shape product strategy and roadmaps. - Driving high-quality software execution, architecting robust and scalable technical designs. - Building and developing a high-performance software development organization through expert hiring, mentoring, and team growth. - Owning operational metrics and support for FBA systems. - Working closely with development teams across global locations on shared projects.

We are seeking experienced leaders with a strong background in engineering and team management. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required, with a Master's degree being a plus.

Essential qualifications include: - A minimum of 3 years in engineering team management and 7 years in engineering roles. - 8+ years of experience leading the development and definition of multi-tier web services. - Deep knowledge of engineering best practices across the full development lifecycle. - Proven experience partnering with product and program management teams. - Expertise in designing and architecting scalable and reliable systems. - Familiarity with non-relational databases and the development of distributed, high-volume transactional applications. - Excellent communication skills for engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership.
