A Bachelor's degree is required, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in designing and architecting new and existing systems, focusing on reliability and scalability. You should also have 5+ years of experience in engineering team management. Proven experience partnering with product and program management teams is essential. A solid understanding of the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and live-site operations, is necessary. Experience working with or evaluating AI systems is also required.

Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree and experience in communicating with users, technical teams, and senior leadership to gather requirements, describe features, and define product strategy. Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring, and managing software engineering teams to enhance their skills is highly valued.
