As a Software Development Manager, you will spearhead the delivery of cross-functional initiatives focused on enhancing the Just Walk Out customer experience. You will lead a team of 6-10 software development engineers, guiding them in building and refining the shopping journey within Just Walk Out stores. Your role involves fostering a high-bar engineering culture, developing software that delivers critical capabilities, and embedding operational knowledge and best practices into our work. We encourage innovation and expect a high degree of ownership for program vision and execution.

We are seeking an experienced engineering leader with a minimum of 2 years in team management and 7 years of overall engineering experience. A strong background in defining and developing multi-tier web services for over 8 years is essential. Candidates should possess a comprehensive understanding of engineering practices across the full software, hardware, and network development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, certification, and live site operations. Proven experience partnering with product or program management teams is also a key requirement. Preferred qualifications include experience communicating with users and stakeholders, recruiting and mentoring engineers, and designing/architecting scalable systems.
