Define and execute the team's strategic vision and roadmap, aligning with end-to-end supply chain needs and translating business requirements into engineering deliverables. Make critical decisions regarding project prioritization to balance competing demands and drive alignment through clear documentation.

Oversee the development of sophisticated systems, including real-time observability platforms, AI/ML-driven forecasting, and optimization engines, processing millions of events daily. Ensure the delivery of high-quality software with minimal defects and system disruption, while effectively managing software operations and adhering to SLAs.

Foster a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement. Drive root cause analysis for incidents, ensuring sustainable, high-quality delivery through robust processes and mechanisms. Proactively identify and mitigate risks, escalating when necessary to senior leadership.

A minimum of 3 years in engineering team management is required, alongside 7 years of overall engineering experience. Additionally, 8 years of experience leading the definition and development of multi-tier web services is essential. A strong understanding of engineering practices across the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations, is crucial.

Proven experience partnering with product or program management teams is necessary. Candidates should also possess experience in designing or architecting new and existing systems, utilizing design patterns, and considering reliability and scaling. Experience in communicating technical designs and product strategy to various audiences, including senior leadership, is highly preferred.
