Requires a strong technical foundation in operating systems, software development, and systems development, coupled with expertise in detailed planning, operational excellence, and effective communication across all organizational levels.

Spearhead the management and development of engineering teams responsible for core Ads technologies, encompassing recruitment, retention, performance management, mentorship, and skill enhancement.

Evaluate complex business and technical requirements, clearly articulating associated risks and proposed solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Establish a clear team vision, focusing on timely delivery, orchestrating operational activities, and managing on-call rotations.

Influence teams and leaders beyond your direct organization, working closely with Principal Engineers on deep technical dives and coordinating with globally distributed teams in related areas.

A minimum of 7 years in engineering and 5 years in engineering team management is essential.

Possess over 8 years of experience in planning, designing, developing, and delivering consumer software.

Demonstrate a proven track record of partnering with product or program management teams and managing multiple concurrent programs, projects, and development teams within an Agile framework.

Basic qualifications also include knowledge of engineering practices and patterns across the full development lifecycle, such as coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations. Experience in designing or architecting new and existing systems, focusing on design patterns, reliability, and scaling, is also required.
