The ideal candidate possesses a minimum of 3 years of experience in engineering team management. Proven experience partnering with product or program management teams is required. You should also have a background in designing or architecting new and existing systems, focusing on patterns, reliability, and scaling. A minimum of 7 years of direct experience working within engineering teams and 8+ years leading the definition and development of multi-tier web services are necessary qualifications.

Preferred qualifications include experience communicating effectively with users, technical teams, and senior leadership to gather requirements, articulate product features, technical designs, and product strategy. Additionally, experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring, and managing software engineers to enhance their skills and effectiveness is highly valued.
