We are seeking a talented Software Development Engineer in Test to develop cutting-edge automation tools and frameworks, tackling complex challenges in a dynamic environment. As a key contributor, you will lead test automation initiatives for critical technical projects, influencing the evolution of test tools, environments, and reporting. Your expertise will be instrumental in delivering robust solutions that ensure exceptional product quality.

Envision, design, and build advanced GenAI tools, frameworks, and testing infrastructure to empower multiple teams and Amazon businesses. Analyze requirements, assess testability, and implement automation opportunities for parallel project execution.

Lead and actively engage in design, test planning, and tools reviews, fostering a unified test tool strategy across the organization. Drive improvements in test tool efficiency, effectiveness, stability, extensibility, and scalability. Participate in hiring and talent development.

Contribute to the development of new features and proof-of-concepts, enhancing the automation framework. Develop MCP servers, APIs, and reference designs, creating High-Level and Low-Level Designs as needed. Document processes to optimize and challenge current practices.

A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in building test automation frameworks and tools is essential. You should also have 4+ years of non-internship professional experience in software development testing.

Proficiency in at least one modern object-oriented programming language such as Java, C++, or C# is required. Experience with test, integration, and build/release automation in distributed environments is necessary.

A Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field is expected. Additionally, a proven track record and development expertise in GenAI technology and tooling are crucial for success in this role.
