Join our PXT Case Management team to transform HR support for millions of Amazon employees globally. You'll contribute to an AI-powered platform that leverages AWS services and generative AI to enhance employee experiences, delivering personalized and efficient HR solutions at scale.

This role offers a unique opportunity to innovate within HR Experience and Technologies, building the next generation of an AI-native case orchestration system. You will help automate routine tasks through configurable workflows and AI agent skills, enabling HR partners to focus on complex, human-centric interactions.

Collaborate with senior engineers on 3-year architecture plans, deepening your understanding of system design and architectural patterns. Lead individual projects from conception through delivery, making data-driven decisions to balance technical debt and business requirements.

Mentor junior engineers in coding best practices while receiving guidance from senior team members to advance your technical and leadership capabilities. Partner closely with SDMs and PMs to translate complex requirements into actionable tasks and contribute to strategic technical discussions. Uphold high standards for code quality, participate in on-call rotations, and continuously drive operational excellence.

A minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience, excluding internships, is required. Additionally, possess at least 2 years of experience in designing or architecting new and existing systems, focusing on reliability and scaling. A solid foundation in at least one programming language is essential for this role.

Preferred qualifications include 3+ years of experience across the full software development lifecycle, encompassing coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is highly valued.
