As a Software Development Engineer, you will be instrumental in developing and managing scalable systems that deliver rich, reliable, and low-latency data. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with innovative technologies and collaborate with a team dedicated to enhancing how users discover, purchase, and consume sports content across all devices.

Design, build, and maintain core data services for live sports events, broadcasts, and related content. Develop high-volume, low-latency distributed systems to ensure accurate and timely event representation. Create tooling and automation to boost the efficiency and reliability of live event publishing. Collaborate with product management and content operations to refine the sports discovery and viewing experience. Focus on operational excellence, identify issues, and propose solutions to enhance software maintainability. Champion best practices in software engineering, including design, testing, and monitoring.

Requires a minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience, excluding internships. Must possess at least 2 years of experience in designing or architecting new and existing systems, including patterns, reliability, and scaling. Proficiency in at least one programming language is essential. Experience with the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations is preferred. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is advantageous.
