Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of complex, cross-team projects, from initial design and development through rigorous testing and deployment. Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and drive project execution forward. Mentor junior engineers, fostering their technical growth.
Take ownership as an independent technical leader, tackling challenging problems and guiding team members toward effective solutions. Architect and develop highly scalable cloud services crucial for the connectivity between Alexa-enabled devices and the Alexa Cloud. Your contributions will be instrumental in building the next generation of smart home experiences.
A minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience, excluding internships, is required. Proficiency in at least one programming language is essential.
Demonstrated experience of at least 5 years in leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including applying design patterns and ensuring reliability and scalability. Proven experience as a mentor, tech lead, or in leading an engineering team is also a key requirement.
Preferred qualifications include 5+ years of experience across the full software development lifecycle, encompassing coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations. A Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field is also preferred.
