Join Amazon's Time & Pay Innovation (T&PA) team as a Software Development Engineer II. You will be instrumental in building large-scale, intelligent products and services within a greenfield environment, leveraging a service-oriented architecture and native AWS components.

As a Software Development Engineer, you will take the lead in identifying and resolving complex, ambiguous problems. You'll significantly influence architecture and design while developing critical-path code.

This role involves solving challenges at Amazon's massive scale, utilizing highly scalable AWS technologies like Lambda, EMR, DynamoDB, S3, Kinesis, and ECS.

You will contribute across the entire agile software development lifecycle, including design, architecture, development, documentation, testing, and operations. You will own solutions end-to-end through full-stack development.

We seek strong Software Development Engineers with a proven ability to lead and solve intricate problems. A successful candidate will possess a solid understanding of system design, architecture, and reliability.

Key qualifications include at least 3 years of professional software development experience (non-internship) and 2+ years in system design or architecture. Proficiency in at least one programming language is essential.

Preferred qualifications include 3+ years of experience across the full software development lifecycle, covering coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is highly desirable.
