Collaborate with talented cross-functional Amazonians to conceptualize, design, and build innovative products and services. Architect globally distributed systems with a strong focus on scalability and reliability. This includes expertise in cross-regional data consistency, cache invalidation strategies, and distributed transaction management. You will design fault-tolerant systems ensuring high availability across multiple regions while handling complex state management. A solid understanding of security protocols and identity management systems is crucial, alongside experience with event-driven architectures and asynchronous processing.
Additionally, you'll be adept at modern DevOps practices and managing CI/CD pipelines for large-scale distributed systems.
A minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience, excluding internships, is required. Candidates should possess at least 2 years of experience in designing or architecting new and existing systems, focusing on design patterns, reliability, and scaling. Significant experience within the Video Games Industry, supporting title development, release, or live operations, is necessary (3+ years). Proficiency in at least one software programming language is essential.
Preferred qualifications include 3+ years of experience across the full software development life cycle, encompassing coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field is highly desirable.
