As a Software Development Engineer II (SDE II), you will lead engineering design and development alongside a team of engineers and product partners. You'll champion high standards for code quality, code reviews, testing, and operational excellence. This role involves creating mechanisms for achieving results and iterating on improvements, leading projects from inception to completion.

You will collaborate with other engineers on technical design and strategy, seizing a career growth opportunity unique to Amazon. You'll also own the technical relationships with business teams and be expected to demonstrate a strong bias for action, deep diving into challenges, insisting on the highest standards, and delivering impactful results.

We are seeking a motivated SDE II with the drive and talent to contribute to and lead our vision. A proven track record of success in delivering new features or products is essential. You should thrive in a hyper-growth environment where priorities can shift rapidly, demonstrating strong design and implementation experience.

Key requirements include: - A minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience (excluding internships). - At least 2 years of experience in designing or architecting new and existing systems, focusing on design patterns, reliability, and scaling. - Proficiency in at least one software programming language. - Experience in the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations is highly preferred. - A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
