As a Software Development Engineer II, you will tackle complex technical challenges by applying suitable technologies and adhering to best practices. You will collaborate with your team to design, develop, and deploy stable, high-performance software solutions.

Your role involves demonstrating a deep understanding of various design approaches and knowing when to implement them pragmatically. You'll write maintainable code that is easily understood by others, minimizing short-term workarounds and focusing on solutions with appropriate complexity from the outset.

Additionally, you'll create flexible software designs, make sound trade-offs, and judiciously manage dependencies. Efficiency in resource utilization, including system hardware, databases, memory, and CPU, is key. You will also actively participate in refining project ideas by engaging with customers, stakeholders, and peers.

We seek individuals with at least 3 years of professional software development experience, excluding internships. A minimum of 2 years in designing or architecting new and existing systems, focusing on reliability and scalability, is essential.

Proficiency in at least one software programming language is required, along with 2+ years of experience building complex software systems. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred, alongside a strong foundation in the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
