As a Software Development Engineer II within FBA, you will tackle complex business challenges and translate them into efficient technical solutions.

You will build large-scale systems utilizing object-oriented principles, advanced algorithms, and data structures. The role involves designing, launching, and re-architecting multi-tier systems that handle substantial amounts of data.

Adapt quickly to a dynamic development environment, prioritizing the creation of simple yet extensible code. Contribute to the evolution of mission-critical services that are foundational to Amazon's global fulfillment capabilities.

We are seeking candidates with a minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience and 2 years in system design, architecture, reliability, and scaling.

Demonstrated experience programming in at least one software language is essential. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.

Preferred qualifications include 3+ years of experience with the full software development lifecycle, from coding standards to operations, and experience designing and managing large-scale distributed systems or web services.
