We collaborate with business units to identify and mitigate fraud risks, detecting and flagging suspicious payment activities for review. As a Software Engineer in the Thunder team, you will need exceptional situational awareness, meticulous attention to detail, and the agility to adapt to evolving needs. The solutions you build must be highly scalable to handle millions of transactions and secure, given the sensitive nature of personally identifiable information.

This role includes developing the next-generation duplicate detection system, ensuring rigorous controller ship while delighting customers through user feedback integration. You will leverage AWS services and machine learning models to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

- Design, develop, and maintain robust, high-performance software applications. - Implement and optimize advanced algorithms and models for critical tasks such as trading and risk assessment. - Seamlessly integrate software systems with databases, APIs, and essential third-party services. - Uphold stringent compliance with financial regulations and industry-specific standards. - Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive, end-to-end solutions. - Write thorough unit tests, conduct effective debugging, and maintain up-to-date technical documentation. - Monitor system performance diligently and provide responsive support during critical incidents. - Stay abreast of emerging trends and cutting-edge technologies within the fintech landscape.

- A minimum of 4 years of professional software development experience and an engineering degree in Computer Science or a related field is required. - Demonstrated passion for innovation, coupled with experience in Scala, Java, or any object-oriented programming language. - Proven expertise in SQL and data modeling within relational database environments. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, complemented by exceptional attention to detail. - Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms is essential. - A good grasp of object-oriented design principles and concepts is necessary. - Capability to build and maintain functional websites is a key requirement.
