As a Software Development Engineer on the Entity Data Service team, you will be central to designing, implementing, and deploying sophisticated, large-scale software systems. You will deliver innovative solutions to intricate problems, communicating your ideas clearly to ensure optimal outcomes for your team and customers.

This role involves close collaboration with Treasury and Accounts Payable teams to address complex entity management issues. You will build systems capable of processing billions of dollars in transactions, ensuring seamless and accurate financial operations across all of Amazon's global entities.

We are looking for engineers with at least 3 years of professional software development experience, excluding internships. A minimum of 2 years in designing or architecting new and existing systems, focusing on reliability and scalability, is essential.

Candidates should possess experience programming in at least one software language. While not strictly required, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with experience in the full software development life cycle (including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations), is highly preferred.
