Join our FBA Capacity and Inventory Health Management team as a Software Development Engineer II, playing a crucial role in optimizing the Amazon marketplace. Sellers are the heart of Amazon, offering an unparalleled selection of products. Our team builds and manages world-class tools for FBA capacity allocation, market-driven systems, inventory forecasting, and the Inventory Performance Index. We leverage in-house, scalable systems for large-scale business operations and inventory optimization, collaborating with top research scientists and developers.

In this role, you will drive Native-AI software development across the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). You'll be instrumental in designing products, applying concepts like Service Oriented Architecture, microservices, and cloud-native solutions. We encourage experimentation with new technologies to achieve project goals. You'll utilize Lean Software Development principles, including Agile, Scrum, and Kanban, alongside Test-Driven Development and Continuous Deployment. Collaboration with senior engineers, researchers, and data engineers will be key to designing advanced supply chain management platforms and automating systems to enhance inventory flow across Amazon marketplaces.

We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience, excluding internships. You should also possess at least 2 years of experience in designing or architecting new and existing systems, with a strong understanding of reliability and scaling principles. Experience within the Video Games Industry, supporting title development, release, or live operations, is required. Proficiency in at least one software programming language is essential. Preferred qualifications include extensive experience in the full software development lifecycle and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. Knowledge of Machine Learning and LLM fundamentals is also beneficial.
