You will be instrumental in building robust, scalable solutions that enhance how millions of EU customers discover and interact with Prime. This role presents a chance to tackle EU-scale challenges while developing solutions with global impact. You will architect cloud-native systems using serverless, event-driven, and microservices patterns, integrating AI-driven innovation to drive Prime's reach to customers everywhere.

Design and implement scalable, cloud-native distributed systems on AWS utilizing serverless architectures, event-driven patterns, and microservices for EU Prime customer engagement.

Collaborate with data scientists and product teams to integrate GenAI/LLM technologies and ML pipelines into production systems for personalized, large-scale customer experiences.

Participate fully in the software development lifecycle, including code and architecture reviews, testing, deployment, and operational excellence, while mentoring team members on high-quality engineering practices.

Drive technical decisions and design solutions for complex, cross-functional initiatives, balancing new feature development with system reliability, performance, and maintainability.

Proactively identify and resolve operational issues, continuously improving team operations, documentation, and processes to enhance resilience and reduce single-threaded dependencies.

A minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience, excluding internships.

Possess at least 2 years of experience in designing or architecting new and existing systems, with a strong understanding of design patterns, reliability, and scaling.

Demonstrate 3+ years of experience within the Video Games Industry, supporting title development, release, or live operations.

Proficiency in programming with at least one software programming language.

Experience with the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations is preferred.

Possession of a Bachelor's degree in computer science or an equivalent qualification is beneficial.
