EU Prime Marketing & Incentives Tech is seeking a talented Software Development Engineer II to architect and build robust, scalable systems at the forefront of generative AI, personalization, and large-scale distributed architectures.

You will architect cloud-native systems on AWS, integrating serverless, event-driven, and microservices patterns with AI-driven innovations. - Architect and implement scalable, cloud-native distributed systems on AWS, leveraging serverless architectures, event-driven patterns, and microservices to enhance EU Prime customer engagement across various marketing channels. - Collaborate cross-functionally with Sciences, Data experts, business teams, Product leaders, and core stores platform teams to integrate GenAI/LLM technologies and ML pipelines into production systems for personalized, large-scale customer experiences. - Actively participate in the full software development lifecycle, including code and architecture reviews, testing, deployment, and operational excellence, while mentoring team members in high-quality engineering practices. - Drive technical decisions and design solutions for complex, cross-functional initiatives, balancing new feature development with system reliability, performance optimization, and maintainability. - Identify and resolve root causes of operational issues, continuously improving team operations, documentation, and processes to foster resilience and reduce single-threaded dependencies.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience, excluding internships. - At least 2 years of experience in designing or architecting new and existing systems, focusing on patterns, reliability, and scaling. - Minimum of 3 years of experience within the Video Games Industry, supporting title development, release, or live operations. - Proficiency in at least one programming language. - Experience with the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations. - A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
