As a software engineer, you will be instrumental in the technical design and implementation of solutions that power our Direct Fulfillment (DF) model. DF enables vendors to ship products directly to customers on behalf of Amazon, necessitating the development of robust, end-to-end systems for emerging and global markets that ensure a seamless customer experience.

You will provide technical leadership to drive key initiatives, including:

- Designing and developing highly reliable, scalable, and distributed systems. - Delivering quality features on schedule, meeting project plans and delivery commitments. - Collaborating with team members on daily development activities, participating in design and code reviews, implementation, and operational excellence. - Engaging with customers and dependencies to ensure high-quality delivery. - Mentoring junior engineers and fostering team growth. - Maintaining current technical knowledge to adapt to rapidly evolving technologies and proactively introducing new solutions. - Launching products to both India and worldwide marketplaces.

Essential qualifications include:

- A minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience, excluding internships. - At least 2 years of experience in designing or architecting new and existing systems, focusing on design patterns, reliability, and scaling. - Proficiency in at least one software programming language.

Preferred qualifications include:

- Over 3 years of experience across the full software development lifecycle, encompassing coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations. - A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. - A strong understanding of professional software engineering best practices for the complete software development lifecycle, including coding standards, software architectures, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing, and operational excellence.
