The Customer Experience Infrastructure (CXI) team, part of Amazon Robotics' Operations Infrastructure Services (OIS), focuses on delivering region-specific, customer-centric solutions. Our goal is to optimize costs, enhance operational transparency, simplify processes, and manage lifecycles for tech infrastructure in fulfillment centers, Whole Foods stores, and quick commerce locations.

As a Software Development Engineer, you will champion high standards throughout the software development and deployment lifecycle. This includes leading efforts in design, development, documentation, testing, and operations.
You'll collaborate closely with business and technical teams to tackle complex, often unique, business challenges. Employing creative problem-solving, you will rapidly develop proofs of concept and deliver production-ready software solutions.

A minimum of 3 years of experience in non-internship design or architecture, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling of systems, is required. You should also possess at least 3 years of professional software development experience.
Significant experience with the full software development lifecycle, encompassing coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations, is essential. Furthermore, at least 3 years of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using languages such as C#, C++, Java, or Perl is expected.
Preferred qualifications include 3+ years of full-stack development experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. Proven experience in building production software for at least 3 years is also highly valued.
