This Software Development Engineer II role within our Amazon Leo Commerce team in India is crucial for establishing regional presence and developing vital commerce systems for Amazon Leo's worldwide operations. Your contributions will directly impact our expansion and operational success.

As an SDE II, you will be instrumental in designing robust components and subsystems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and operational excellence. You'll architect and implement globally distributed cloud solutions, working collaboratively across teams to integrate systems and manage dependencies.

Your role involves close collaboration with fellow engineers, product managers, and UX designers to craft exceptional customer experiences. You'll also contribute to the architecture, solutions, and roadmap for managing the global customer lifecycle within our telecom commerce services.

We are seeking candidates with at least 3 years of professional software development experience beyond internships, coupled with proficiency in at least one programming language. A minimum of 2 years in designing or architecting new and existing systems, focusing on design patterns, reliability, and scaling, is essential.

Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, and over 3 years of experience across the full software development lifecycle, encompassing coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
