We are dedicated to ensuring Amazon remains compliant, enabling seamless scaling for businesses and sellers. Our team pioneers innovative compliance products that build a trusted marketplace, protecting hundreds of millions of customers worldwide from malicious actors who attempt to exploit Amazon's services.
Our mission is to create the most trusted online store, empowering Amazon's innovation and accelerating customer business growth. If you're passionate about building robust systems to combat illicit activities at scale and deliver exceptional customer experiences, this role is for you.
As a Software Development Engineer, you will architect and develop sophisticated software solutions. Furthermore, you will develop an API-driven system accessible to authorized users.
Your work will involve creating intelligent systems that outsmart global adversaries, safeguarding the Amazon marketplace from illegal activities. Leveraging Amazon's immense scale, you will design and develop advanced custom distributed systems, pushing the boundaries of industry standards. These data-intensive systems must adeptly detect emerging patterns within Amazon's vast customer base in real-time and adapt to evolving tactics used by bad actors.
We are seeking engineers with a strong foundation in software development and system design. A minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience, excluding internships, is required. Candidates should also possess at least 2 years of experience in designing or architecting new and existing systems, with a focus on design patterns, reliability, and scalability. Experience within the Video Games Industry, supporting title development, release, or live operations, is also a key requirement.
Proficiency in at least one software programming language is essential. Preferred qualifications include 3+ years of experience across the full software development lifecycle, encompassing coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field is highly valued.
