As an engineer on the SPIV team, you will leverage a strong foundation in computer fundamentals and gain practical experience with large-scale distributed systems. You will contribute to building and enhancing web services-based applications designed for massive scale. Your work will be crucial in ensuring the integrity and efficiency of our identity verification processes.
This role involves hands-on development and architectural contributions to complex software systems. You will participate in the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
We are seeking engineers with a minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience, excluding internships. A solid understanding of system design, architecture, reliability, and scaling is essential, with at least 2 years of experience in these areas. Proficiency in at least one software programming language is required.
Ideal candidates will also possess 3+ years of experience in the complete software development lifecycle, encompassing coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
