This critical function supports Finance, Accounting, and Tax teams worldwide, underpinning Amazon's ability to meet close deadlines and maintain financial data integrity.

Architect and implement foundational greenfield services, focusing on scalability, reliability, and performance. Leverage the latest technologies and frameworks in cloud computing, distributed systems, and data processing.

Tackle high-scale processing challenges by designing and implementing robust, high-performance solutions for millions of daily transactions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, data engineers, and accountants. Engage with Principal and Senior Principal Engineers, presenting your work and developing leadership skills.

We are seeking a results-oriented Software Development Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience.

Experience in system design and architecture, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling of new and existing systems (2+ years), is essential. A background in the Video Games Industry supporting title development, release, or live operations is also required (3+ years).

Proficiency in at least one programming language is mandatory. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred, alongside experience across the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
