We are seeking a Software Development Engineer with a strong sense of ownership and a passion for tackling complex, large-scale challenges with innovative solutions. You will contribute to a team that drives significant cost savings for Amazon through its multipack programs, impacting how products are represented, priced, and fulfilled globally.
This unique opportunity offers broad exposure across the entire retail funnel. You will be involved in ASIN creation, catalog management, pricing, selection, ranking, and customer-facing experiences on Search, Detail Page, Cart, Checkout, and specialized storefronts. Close collaboration with the science team will allow you to develop and influence models for multipack selection and personalization.
Shape foundational decisions in a high-visibility, ground-up re-architecture of the multipack platform. Your ideas will transition from concept to production, reaching hundreds of millions of customers and influencing how multipacks are discovered, purchased, and fulfilled. This role provides end-to-end systems exposure rarely found at Amazon.
Design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable, and maintainable end-to-end software solutions throughout the development lifecycle.
Collaborate effectively with product managers, principal engineers, and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into robust technical designs and functional software.
Drive continuous system enhancements by identifying existing gaps, proposing impactful solutions, and delivering results with a commitment to high quality and operational excellence.
Actively participate in code reviews, champion team best practices, and mentor junior engineers to elevate the team's technical capabilities.
Demonstrate strong ownership by actively monitoring built systems, responding to operational issues, and implementing rapid iterations to enhance customer and partner experiences.
A minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience, excluding internships.
Possess at least 2 years of experience in designing or architecting new and existing systems, with a focus on patterns, reliability, and scaling.
Proficiency in at least one software programming language.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
