EDS is dedicated to creating next-generation products that will transform daily customer interactions with technology. You will be instrumental in designing and developing advanced mobile and cloud software, ensuring seamless integration with hardware like Smart Eyewear to deliver exceptional user experiences globally.

You will design, implement, and maintain cutting-edge features for mobile applications across Android, iOS, and React Native, alongside robust cloud services. Taking ownership of key system components, you’ll drive architecture, implementation, and long-term maintainability.

Your role involves writing high-quality, thoroughly tested code that adheres to production standards. You’ll actively participate in technical design reviews, sprint planning, and project execution, collaborating closely with product, UX, and QA teams to launch impactful features. Investigating and resolving complex issues across the device-mobile-cloud ecosystem is also a key aspect of this position.

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field is required, along with a minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience. Candidates should possess at least 2 years of experience in designing or architecting new and existing systems, demonstrating expertise in design patterns, reliability, and scaling.

Proficiency in at least one programming language and experience building and shipping cloud services or mobile applications are essential. Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree, experience with Android, iOS, or other mobile development/testing, and familiarity with REST APIs, CI/CD workflows, and scalable system design.
