Lead and develop a high-performing software development team focused on delivering reliable data pipelines that meet executive-level quality standards and consumption needs.
Drive the technical roadmap planning and execution for data platforms, ensuring architectural decisions support long-term strategic goals and maintainable, scalable systems.
Conduct regular 1:1s with team members, providing mentorship, career development guidance, and performance management to foster a self-sufficient, successful team.
Validate data quality standards rigorously and implement mechanisms to ensure the highest level of data reliability for leadership consumption and critical decision-making.
Engage with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to define team vision, effectively manage competing priorities, and communicate technical decisions across the organization.
A minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience, excluding internships, is required.
Possess over 2 years of experience in designing or architecting new and existing systems, including an understanding of design patterns, reliability, and scaling principles.
Demonstrated experience in programming with at least one software programming language.
Preferred qualifications include 3+ years of experience across the full software development life cycle, encompassing coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
